NEET Rank Predictor 2026

Marks → All India Rank, interpolated from published NTA 2024 and 2025 scorecard data. Category-aware, honest about year-to-year difficulty swings, and everything stays in your browser.

Used only to prefill the college predictor.

All calculations run in your browser — nothing you type is stored or sent anywhere.

How this is computed

  1. 1Your marks are interpolated against published NTA marks-to-AIR tables for NEET 2024 and NEET 2025 (piecewise-linear between real anchors — no synthetic curve).
  2. 2The band's center sits on the 2025 table (the latest verified year); the band spans the 2024 disagreement, which is large because 2024 was an unusually easy, later-revised paper.
  3. 3Percentile is derived from the 2025 appeared pool (22,09,318 candidates).
  4. 4For reserved categories we estimate a category rank from NTA 2024 registration shares — disclosed as an estimate, with a deliberately wide band.
Why a band, not a number

The band widens where anchors are sparse and where the years disagree. The center always sits on the latest verified year. Inputs beyond the highest published anchor clamp to it and the page says so — we never silently extrapolate.

Frequently Asked Questions

Where does the marks-to-rank data come from?

From published NTA scorecard analyses of NEET 2024 (revised result of 26 July 2024) and NEET 2025 — e.g. 600 marks corresponded to AIR 1,386 in 2025. The anchors and their sources are listed in the methodology section; the model interpolates between them instead of assuming a distribution.

Why is my predicted band sometimes very wide?

Because NEET difficulty swung hard between years and we refuse to hide it: 650 marks meant roughly AIR 29,000 in 2024 (an unusually easy, later-revised paper) but AIR 77 in 2025 (a hard paper topped at 686). The center of the band sits on 2025, the latest verified year; the width shows the real year-to-year risk.

What does the category rank mean?

An estimate of your position within your category's list, derived from NTA 2024 registration shares (OBC was about 43% of registrations, SC about 14%, ST about 6%). It is an assumption-based estimate with a wide band — counselling portals publish the real category ranks.

Does qualifying NEET mean I get MBBS?

No. In 2025, 12.4 lakh of 22.1 lakh candidates qualified, but MBBS seats are far fewer. Qualifying makes you eligible for counselling; your rank, category, quota and state decide the seat. Use the college predictor for that next step.

I scored above 686 — why does the tool hedge?

686 was the highest published 2025 anchor (the topper's score, AIR 1). Above the highest verified anchor there is no published data, so the tool clamps to it and tells you the top end is open rather than inventing precision.

Is my data stored?

No. Every calculation runs in your browser. Your marks are never sent to our servers, and there is no login.
