NEET College Predictor 2026
Rank (or marks) + category + home state → AIQ MBBS, state-quota MBBS, BDS and private MBBS matches tiered Safe / Realistic / Reach against reported MCC closing ranks. Arriving from the rank predictor? Your inputs are already filled in.
How this is computed
- 1Your rank (entered directly, prefiltered from the rank predictor, or derived from marks via the anchor model) is compared against closing ranks per institute and branch.
- 2Category and home-state adjustments use the multipliers documented in the dataset (e.g. NIT home-state quota).
- 3Matches are tiered Safe / Realistic / Reach by distance from the closing rank.
- 4Institute/branch matching uses publicly-reported JoSAA 2024 Round 6 (engineering) and MCC/state 2024 (medical) closing ranks — approximate, representative, not exhaustive. Verify on josaa.nic.in / mcc.nic.in before counselling.
The band widens where anchors are sparse and where the years disagree. The center always sits on the latest verified year. Inputs beyond the highest published anchor clamp to it and the page says so — we never silently extrapolate.

All calculations stay in your browser — we never store or transmit the numbers you type. Official NTA results and JoSAA/MCC portals remain the authority for counselling decisions.

Frequently Asked Questions
How accurate is this college predictor?
Matching uses publicly-reported 2024 MCC AIQ and state-quota closing ranks with documented category multipliers, plus spot-checked MCC 2025 Round 1 anchors shown on the tool (AIIMS Delhi closed at AIR 48, MAMC at 85, VMMC at 141 for general AIQ). It estimates eligibility tiers, not counselling outcomes — verify on mcc.nic.in and your state portal.
Can it start from my rank predictor result?
Yes — the NEET rank predictor's results screen links here with your estimated AIR, category and home state prefilled via the URL. Adjust anything after landing.
Are state-quota seats included?
Representative state-quota MBBS colleges are included and shown only when you select that home state (85% of state seats are domicile-restricted). State counselling portals remain the authority for full lists.
Why don't I see every medical college?
The dataset is representative, not exhaustive — top AIQ colleges, AIIMS campuses, sample state-quota and BDS/private options. It is built for tier planning, not as a counselling directory.
What does Safe / Realistic / Reach mean?
Safe = your rank is comfortably below the adjusted closing rank. Realistic = near it. Reach = above it with a smaller chance depending on 2026 shifts. NEET cutoffs move with paper difficulty, so re-check after the result.
Is my data stored?
No. Every calculation runs in your browser — rank, marks, category and state are never sent anywhere.
